Autrey Mills Nature Preserve is located at 9770 Autrey Mills Road, Johns Creek
This is a great place with 3 miles of walking trails, mostly in the shade, on 46 acres of forest ravines. The trails are open 8 am -9 pm. Kids will love it because they have ducks, African Spurred Tortoise, bunnies, chickens, and goats.
Make sure to bring some quarters with you so you can buy the food out of the machine. I always brought a paper cup for my son when he was younger for him to have the food in. Just make sure to not litter when done.
They have fun summer camps here too!
There are a few picnic tables here to eat at and they have a public restroom.
Heritage’s Visitor Center is open Saturday 10 am- 4 pm and Sunday 12 pm- 4 pm. All buildings are available for tour (including Visitor Center and Farm Museum) for Take-A-Peek Tuesdays and Sneak-A-Peek Saturdays 1 pm – 3 pm,
The Farm Museum is also open Saturdays from 10 am – 4 pm.
