Bloom General Store opened today in Milton across from Bell Memorial Park at 15250 Hopewell Road, Milton, GA.
Located in the old Hardeman's Gorcery store, one of two historical buildings left in Milton, is from the late 1940's it has "bloomed over the years."
Today it is the site of Chris Sedgwick and Josh Kim's new business, Bloom General Store. Josh is from New York and has a pasion for doughnuts and has created some unique new doughnuts! Chris is known locally for his amazing restaurants like 7 Acre Barn and Grill, The Union, Pure Taqueria, and Made Kitchen and Cocktails.
The store sells local goods such as honey, paintings, flowers and more.
There is a great spot for the kids to sit and watch the doughnuts be made.
Megan Allen is the magical creater who makes these magical doughnut flavors. They had 5 kinds of fresh, made from scratch doughnuts today and will rotate, Citrus Thyme, Ginger Snap, Coffee Pancetta and Honey Blossom. The sugar doughnut one was not listed on the board so be sure to ask for it if you want one.They will change the flavors every two weeks or so.
They use all natural and fresh ingredients.
They have gourmet coffees from the local East Pole Coffe and Company and specialty drinks such as the Arnold Palmer.
They also sell some gournmet homemade ice cream flavors such as apple butter chai, Tahini chocolate, Lemon goat chees, and Pistachio
There is seating inside and some benches and a unique table outside.
They are open 7:30-5 Tuesday-Sunday.
I "dougnut" about you, but I am ready for this place to "bloom"!
