Creekwater Alpaca Farm

Updated: Jan 14, 2023

Creekwater Alpaca Farm is located at 2812 Centerville-Rosebud Road, Snellville, GA and has been in business for over 25 years. Their farm is filled with Alpacas, a native animal to Peru, that produces some of the softest fiber in the world. Then even sell alpaca fiber products including alpaca fiber socks in their gift shop here.

Nance Sturm, the owner, has been avid animal lover her entire life. A graduate from Oglethorpe University she decided that she would build an alpaca farm. In the 1990’s, and 2000’s she bred, sold and showed alpacas all across the United States. As a result, Nance won all kinds awards for her alpacas.

Today, Creekwater Alpaca Farm is over 42 acres with 5 barns, a fully stocked lake, and majestic fields and forest. Creekwater hosts more than just Alpacas. They have goats, bunnies, guinae fowls, geese, ducks, dogs, cats and a beautiful blue heron that flies across our lake. In December of 2018, Creekwater Alpaca Farm opened its tour business where you can visit our farm to see our gorgeous animals.

From their website "All of out tours are fully immersive, hands-on, fun outings that people of all ages will enjoy. With groups of up to ten or so per tour, our guides will escort you through the farm at an easy-going pace. You’ll see the Alpacas, bunnies, goats, sheep, pot belly pigs, Guineas and geese up close and personal, and get to feed them too! Feeding our four legged, furry and feathered friends is sure to delight the kids, and the adults will enjoy the experience too.
