Packing for Disney or any other amusement park

Updated: Nov 26, 2022

I love to buy things when we go to parks, but I also like to save money! We have been to many amusement parks and these are our must have items we buy ahead of time to save money.

They do not sell gum at Disney so bring that with you if you want it.

Neck Fan! Highly suggest one for each family member. They charge via usb so you can charge if needed ina portable charger. WeLOVE ours!

You more than likely will have at least one rain storm so grab these ponchos and be prepared. These are so small they fit in your pocket, purse and I keep some in my car glove box and suitcase and just leave them there for the next rip in the zipper part.

This was amazing! My kid never got wet and loved it!

Stroller Flag- Disney Moves your strollers while you are on rides so this helps you see it from a far!

Stroller Clips These are great to clip the packages you buy while at the park. I also clipped my purse so it was harder for someone to grab while we walked and easy to unclip to take on the rides.

Stroller Bag You hang on the back of the stroller. This is great because when you get on and off a bus between parks you have to fold up your stroller. If you have items below they are a pain to hold, this way up clip the bag and carry it.

Small packing cubes are great to keep first aid, medicines, extra outfits in etc. Just throw it in the suitcase or stroller bag. I have different colors for different people or categories and makes life and traveling easy!

Great for cleaning the table when you sit to eat, wiping the stroller handles every so often too.

Water bottle with Filter Click on the brown color bottle, right now it is a lot cheaper

Reuseable Straws (Disney does not have them)

Cooler Backpack - We bring our own drinks/snacks to save money at Disney. They do ask that you put the ice in baggies so they can get it through security quicker.

or

This cooler has two different sections

Portable Fans This is my one must item! Go ahead and get one per member or you end up all wanting it at the same time.

Ziploc Gallon Bags You can store snacks, ice for the cooler, extra clothes, make a first aid baggie or just about anything in these

Chaffing Stick This helps when your legs rub together or even on your arms from a backpack or shirt.

Water Proof Cell Protector This is great for the water rides. Just place your cell phone in it and it wont get wet. You can still use the phone while in the case. I have also stuck a few dollars and a charge card in it with the phone. This is one thing I do not get off name brand as friends have reuined their phones with those.

Portable Charger You will defiantly need this. Make sure to bring the cord for your phone into the park with you!

Mickey Glow Necklaces Save the money now instead of buying there

BitBelt We used these one year and my friend with us didn't want them. She ended up having two of her kids lose their bands and spent 45 mins getting them replaced while we had fun on rides, so we always use them.

Disposable Place Mats You just peel and stick them on the table. Place child's food on top and them trash when done.

We got these for our Disney cruise and use them at the park too. We put our pins on them so my son can trade. They are great to keep a card in with your information if your child ever got lost. They are great to hold the card to for fast passes( when they happen again) if you don;t have a magic band.

Autograph book This one is half the price as the ones at the park! Don't forget to bring a pen or market for it!

Buy Mickey themed snacks ahead of time for a cheaper price. You can save up for the good snacks at the park. I always have to get a Mickey pretzel for $7!

Minnie Mouse Shoes I mean, every little girl needs these!

Disney Purse It is pricey, but oh so cute!

First Aid Kit- While Disney is great at helping for a boo boo. It is just quicker adn easier if you have it all right there ready to go! These have been great from Disney to Hawaii. I keep it all in a bag and just throw it in the car, suitcase or baby bag.

Here is a kit already made and cheaper then all my items, but I like specific ones, so I make my own kit.

Band Aid Large Water Proof Pad ( great to cover the whole knee)

I also keep a small bottle of water with it to help wash the wound.

Make sure to stock up on medicines you may need while there! I keep all these in a packing cube so it is always together.

Whatever medicine your child needs. I always keep these for my son. I am not a doctor so please always consult them before giving medicine to your children.

I love these little bottles. I pre-measure out my sons medicine and bring it in these small bottles, no need to bring medicine spoons and then you toss when done. Saves so much room. I just write the name on them. I keep them in my purse so the kids cant get it but I have easy access to it. It is great because my son randomly gets allergic to something I can just grab a dose out quickly and do not have to take the time to measure it out.
