This week I feature Pomodoro Bella in the Chatahoochee Food Works located at 1235 Chattahoochee Ave NW, Atlanta, GA 30318.
Want a fun "cheesy" experience, that doesn't cost a lot of "dough"? Then take the kids for a pizza making class!
Chef James, was amazing for our pizzza class. You could tell he really cared about the kids and their expereince! As a kindergarten teacher, I was very impressed with how he and his staff intereacted with our group of 13 kids aging 5 to 11. I was shocked to learn after, this was his first class!
For $18 (plus tax and we all tipped) your child gets to make their own pizza and you get a bottle of water or a sugar free flavored soda.
The kids had a blast kneading the dough, layering on the cheese, adding their favorite topping and watch it be put in the pizza oven.
They opened early at 10 am for us to not be in the way of their usual lunch crowd.
They had lined the floor with paper before we got there, encase they got messy, gave each child gloves and assisted to whomever needed it. The pizzas came out fast and no child ever got restless waiting.
We then went to a huge table in the middle of The Works to eat it. They also have outdoor seating!
They have outdoor seating too!
I mean the only thing better would be an area for the kids to run around after.........oh wait, they even have that out back!
We did this with a group of friends, but would be fun for a birthday party too!
